How to Burn Candles Properly?!?

Safety First!

• Always burn candle within sight and away from flammable items.
• Trim the wick between 1/8 to 1/4 inch long every time. You may use kitchen scissors or a wick trimmer. This will give you a cleaner and brighter light.
• Let your candle burn until the pool of melted wax reaches the edges of the jar/tin before you snuff the flame.
• Burn your candle up to 4 hours at a time. This will avoid the wick to "mushroom" up and soot to be released in the air.
• Keep the flame away from moving air such as opened windows, fans, or air conditioners. Moving air can disturb the flame, which may stain the jar/tin and create tunneling.
• Dip your wick into the pool of melted wax to extinguish the flame. It's the best way to avoid the smell of smoke.
